Holly is a 3rd year Earth Science student with a passion for the outdoors. A keen skier with a love for hiking, camping and new places; she sees Uganda as her next challenge. Excited to apply her geology skill set, she hopes to uncover new research regarding the East African Rift.

Having been to Ghana on a similar expedition; camping, navigating and immersion in the culture are no problem for Holly. She traveled America this summer and can’t wait to explore more of the world. Her field experience, background knowledge and enthusiasm will serve the team well.

As co-leader, Holly will assist Chris with his duties. She will ensure deadlines are met, the team stays organised and in general, oversee the progression of the expedition. In Uganda, she will have a key part in leading the mountain trek as well as keeping team morale high.

As with any expedition, she hopes to gain as much as she can from the experience. She wants to contribution to research of the East African Rift in the hope of helping locals exploit resources. The skills gained from this trip will aid future jobs and friendships will indefinitely be made. Finally, after conquering challenges on this expedition, Holly hopes to grow as an individual, readying herself for real life.
